ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was strolling along the bank of the Tagus River in Almada, Portugal, when I spotted a man fishing. In the background, the 25 de Abril Bridge and Lisbon. So I was motivated to photograph what I saw, because it all formed a beautiful composition, which I could frame vertically, with my camera. I did the photograph and here it is, available for sale.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
