Working with the synchronized swimming group, Aquateque was so magical. Their grace, their athleticism, and their communication was amazing to watch and document. Two of the women are actually identical twins. I wanted to collaborate with them to create imagery that showcased there skills from underwater and was different than other synchronized swimming imagery. There is a strong sense of movement in their pose, just before they all do a backflip. The image is printed on archival Canson Platine paper. Trimmed with a 1/4 inch border for handling. This is a limited edition, signed and numbered on the back of the print. Certificate of authenticity is numbered and signed.

Los Angeles-based photographer, Mallory Morrison, has been honing her skills in underwater photography for the past several years and continues to experiment with new processes and concepts. Originally a dance photographer, Mallory blended her photography skills with her twenty-four years of dance experience, bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions. Mallory’s evolution into underwater photography allowed her to introduce another element to this union and extend the range of her talent even further. Her use of dancers in an underwater environment allows Mallory to challenge the boundaries of people photography - utilizing weightlessness to tell stories which explore the depths of movement and composition.
