Viktor Pischinger was a finalist of the VUB Photo of the year 2011 competition. He was awarded second prize in the PX3 Prix de la Photograpie Paris 2010 Competition and in 2009 recieved the first place in the Winton Train - Inspiration by goodness photography competition. Viktor Pischinger completed his Masters degree on the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Photography and new media department in 2011. He finalised his Bachelor studies on the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech republic on the Advertising photography department of Fine Arts /2009/ and studied photography /2000-2004/ on Josef Vydra school of Applied Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia. He lived in Indonesia and studied painting as a part of a scholarship programme on the island of Java at Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta.
