"Having Thoughts of Marianne 5" Photograph

I am a singer-songwriter, composer, pianist and actress; it is from this space of imagination, story, and impulse that I draw, or paint, or create photographs. My form spans fast line drawings of music artists in session, to photos and digitally manipulated art of those photos. Subjects range from women in the arts, to socially disenfranchised peoples, to expressions of the inner world via reading oracles such as the Celtic Runes and I Ching, and massive wall murals of what I call "Nordic Graffiti". My most recent body of work surrounds a music album entitled "FACE". In this gallery you will find poster art and photography associated with the release of this body of work now available on CD, digital downloads and streaming platforms. I am a conservatory trained musician but a self taught visual artist. Visual art is the one medium where I explore without self judgement, specifically because my primary forms of expression, Music and Performance, are the forms in whichI received so much pedagogical, regurgitation based training. It is with a lack of reverence and humble communion that I play in the visual and tactile arts.
