About The Artwork

This photograph shows the female body blending in with her background. The background is an abstract artwork on canvas painted by artist Anne-Claire Fleer, a corporate girl gone creative and now making a living of her passion. The canvas is a representation of freedom in the style of abstract expressionism. The artist subsequently painted the model in the same style and photographed her posing in front of the canvas. Don't be surprised to find yourself looking at the artwork over and over again to identify where the artwork ends and the body begins. She tricks the eye! The body paint sessions are available to any female interested. This way she helps all generation women remember how beautiful they are. To empower them to be confident and positive through body painting and as a result live their best possible life. Check her website anneclairefleer.com for more details on booking a session yourself.

Anne-Claire empowers women through body painting. She helps any generation, colour, shape and size women remember how beautiful they are by turning their bodies into living works of art. In a world full of anxieties about the way we look, and as a consequence how we feel, she wants to give back freedom and confidence when it comes to the perception of our own female bodies. Her process starts with the act of painting Abstract Art on canvas. The canvas serves as backdrop for her models, which are never models, but real women who want to celebrate their bodies. She paints them in the same style as her backdrop and lets the body blend in. The final step in the process is photographing the models in front of her Artwork, tricking the eye as to where the body ends and the canvas begins. These Photographic Art Works are being enjoyed by both the model as well as the public. #femaleempowerment #bodyconfidence #bodypositivity
