Jennifer Miro was San Francisco's and punk rocks prima donna when she was a founding member of the Nuns when she lived in Mill Valley in Marin. The Nuns began performing around various venues in the San Francisco area in January 1976. They were the among the first punk bands in California and had difficulty finding regular venues. They played the first show at the Mabuhay Gardens in 1976 and quickly became popular artists.. They were playing two sold-out shows on consecutive weekend nights at the Mabuhay Gardens in San Francisco. This shot was taken at the Tropicana Hotel in Hollywood while debuting as the VIP's at the Whiskey.
