SHIPPING AND RETURNS

It was kind of a surprise to find this area, it's a so called "lost place" where old trains are stored - forgotten to rotten. But there was so much life still to be found : I love these two "kissing trains", so idyllic and warm in colour and closeness - sunshine in the face. ________________________...

The light. The attempt to make the immaterial become visible. What is appearance, what is being? What is revealed only by a second gaze? The secrets of movement and energy. The eternal theme of change and metamorphosis. ...... These are the topics the German artist Larissa Laë is working on. She is working in her studio in Bonn since 2008 as self-employed freelance artist. For an inside look, please visit her website . ................... Larissa Laë is a creative soul in all possible dimensions. .................. So she not only creates sculptures, paintings or photographs, presented in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, but invented also all new techniques for that, just to become able to show what she is concerned with. ................... Apart from being a recognized visual artist, she has also been working as a performing artist, which in some ways also influences her visual arts too (e.g. you may recognize a lot of 'dance' in her calligraphics) . Larissa Laë wrote, staged and acted some boulevard commedies, has own reading and concert programs for the stage, acted for the TV, presents short dance performances, does speaker jobs etc. ............ The past 5 years, however, she has strongly focused on visual arts. .................. Her main works are : /// abstract, organic CERAMIC SCULPTURES in a very elaborate technique developed by herself: porcelain-like mass over substructures, appearing homegeniuosly massive, but in a hidden way interspersed with semi-transparent zones, which become visible only in the play with light ///....... &...... /// greatly reduced but tense CALLIGRAPHIC PAINTINGS /// ...... & ...... /// monochrome PHOTOGRAPHS /// .............. Since 2017 the artist has expanded the range of materials for her sculptures by creating some works in BRONZE or artificial STONE for the outdoor area. ......... And apart from the reduced calligraphic painting, she sometimes also goes into full-colour abstract acrylic painting. ....... She loves to experience how curiosity for the new and openness for experiments on new materials, techniques or themes, often lead to a real boost of new creative expressive power!
