Liquid Time #18 - Limited Edition of 10 Photograph

Photographs taken with a photosensitive film (analog camera) taking several photos on the same negative (multiple exposure). Its development is by chemical process and printing is digital. Photography was the first technological device suitable for artists to capture and freeze the fleeting. Liquid Time make visible by reference the urban anthropology and its influence in the everyday´s life. Urban images composed by juxtaposed places, situations and moments that constantly arrive and fade in its own existence and ethereal nature ... an appropriate metaphors to understand in many ways the dynamics of modern society and its representation in Contemporary Art. Liquid Time comes from the book "Liquid Times. Living in a time of uncertainty, by Zygmunt Bauman. Bauman describes the attributes of capitalist society that have remained over time and what are the features that have changed the paradigms in the world: We are experiencing the passing of a society "solid" - stable, repetitive – to a ' liquid "- flexible, changeable - in which social structures do not last long enough to solidify.
