About The Artwork

Title: Marina under bridge Series: Love of it Medium: Pigment inkjet print on Hahnemulle museum etching 350gms Edition 2 of 3 plus 2 AP. Size 36 x 59 (inches), signed & numbered certificate of authenticity. “For the Love of It” is an on-going series looking at the appropriation of football in unconventional environments. This series also has undelaying questions of urban spaces planning in Africa. Why are our cities with the scarcity of recreation spaces for football? Why are there few spaces for pedestrians? Why are our cities fast becoming a concrete “jungle”? The above are the few of the many puzzles I hope there will be a solution.
