Mountaineer - Limited edition 2 of 50 Photograph

Taken near the Dossen hut in the Swiss Alps early morning just as we set off. In the 1980´s I was a professional mountaineering photographer employed by guide book companies and freelance magazine work. This is one of the images outside the brief so has never been sold. It has won awards and is now available as a limited edition print. It was shot on my 1959 Rolleicord V which I still use. The original is Transparency film. With modern techniques I am now able to produce a print of exceptional quality and stability. The work is printed on archival acid free fiber rag cotton paper using inks which are specially produced for archival works. The image size is 30 x 30 cm and is signed in the bottom right corner. Each print is numbered. The paper size is slightly bigger to allow for a white border for mounting.
