Ludovico Cusmano and Antonella Muto describe themselves as explorers of our time. Deeply attuned to the understanding of human dynamics, they seek a glimmer of light in every form of expression. United in life and work, through the project Lechuguita, they create works that invite reflection—an evocative, sensory space that resonates with a universal language, transcending any presumed obviousness. At the heart of their artistic inquiry lies the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection, transience, and the ephemeral, imbuing incompleteness with meaning through the journey itself, while honoring the uniqueness of a narrative that reaches its zenith in the eternal dance between vulnerability and strength. Antonella and Ludovico crossed paths for the first time in Santiago de Compostela in 2023, marking the beginning of a new shared journey. Today, they work with passion to transform Lechuguita into their primary life expression, infusing their images with new meaning and merging their experiences to create a profound dialogue between art and observer. Ludovico is an artist and visual storyteller who has transformed a life rich in experiences into an authentic creative pursuit. Born in London and raised amidst diverse cultures, he has navigated many paths—from studying economics and psychology to building a multifaceted professional career—before discovering in art, writing, and philosophy his true expressive calling. Antonella, a passionate explorer of the human experience, holds degrees in pedagogy, sociology, and anthropology. She views every form of expression as an opportunity for sensory exploration, a journey of discovery both of the world and of herself. Through photography and writing, she seeks to convey a strong sense of justice and values such as inclusivity and authenticity, creating works that invite reflection and foster dialogue.
