I took this doorman in front of Trump Tower early Sunday morning before the line of policeman turned up. Cameras were setting up opposite pavement and everyone was waiting for Donald on the eve of his court appearance . In this piece, I captured the essence of urban life through the lens of a bygone era. The monochromatic tones speak to the timeless quality of city narratives, framing the solemn figure of a doorman as a sentinel of both the past and the present. This photograph harmonizes fleeting moments with enduring structures—it's an homage to the silent stories and unwavering spirits that animate the city's streets. It's a piece that will bring a sense of depth, contemplation, and timeless urban energy to your space. This black and white photograph is part of a new series of photos taken in New York and they are limited editions of 10 to be printed on paper,260g/m2, 10 mil, bright white finish with a smooth unstructured, un-textured surface signed and numbered on the front on a 5 cm white border. They will be sent in a tube with a certificate of Authenticity.
