ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This black and white photo was taken near the Place De la Republic during the Happy Hour of the cafe. You can see reflected in the glass the bronze statue of Marianne which is draped with the Ukraine flag. I sought to encapsulate a moment of communal joy and relaxation in this piece, framing it in timeless black and white. Within the candid nature of street photography, I've captured a slice of daily vibrancy, a visual symphony where light and laughter dance together. This snapshot is an invitation to cherish the simplicities of life, the easy conversations, and the quiet revelry that hum within the heart of a city. It's a memento that exudes an inviting energy for any space. . The black and white limited edition print will be printed on photo paper the actual print size being a little larger to allow for a white border for a signature bottom right and numbered on the left. All photos come with a certificate of Authenticity.

. My recent paintings and photographs of Parisian, Veinnese and New York everyday life are inspired by the many summers and winters we have lived in the cities. I truly believe thet art is the highest form of hope. Jo Tuck's works are in private collections around the world and regularly participates in shows in New York, Caelum Gallery, and London. , including Christie's Cancer benefit show and the RA Summer shows Her background is film editing until she became a full-time painter and photographer. While she was at college she made two 16mm short films, one on the Australian Aboriginal Women and another on Sheep farming in Wales. After film editing for the BBC and feature films I took up painting and photography full time. My photojournalism is inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, Eugene Atget, and Robert Frank .
