VIEW IN MY ROOM
The photo is one of twenty, limited editions. It was shot by Jo Tuck on her Nikon camera while she was living in Rue Oberkampf in Paris. The man riding his bike with his dog trying to keep up along side, is reading the lunch menu and it is hopefully good news for the dog that the man is going to stop and have lunch. In this photograph I captured a fleeting moment of urban synergy, where human and pet move as one through the bustling streets. The black-and-white tones heighten the timeless bond, highlighting the simplicity of companionship amidst the city's complexity. This piece invites the viewer to reflect on the joy and motion of daily life, and it promises to infuse any space with the spirit of togetherness and the pulse of metropolitan energy. This photograph in black and white will be printed on photographic paper and signed and numbered on the the front on a 5cm white border. It will be sent in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.

. My recent paintings and photographs of Parisian and New York everyday life are inspired by the many summers and winters we have lived in both cities. Art is the highest form of hope ! "It is only the heart that truly sees that which is important. " Jo Tuck's works are in private collections around the world and regularly participates in shows in New York, Caelum Gallery, and London. , including Christie's Cancer benefit show and the RA Summer shows Her background is film editing until she became a full-time painter and photographer. While she was at college she made two 16mm short films, one on the Australian Aboriginal Women and another on Sheep farming in Wales. After film editing for the BBC and feature films I took up painting and photography full time. My photojournalism is inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, Eugene Atget, and Robert Frank .
