What started as a morning stroll while on holiday In Las Vegas in 2017 spawned my longest-standing project in over 30 years as a working professional photographer - The Pavement Project. Looking down I saw a patterned formed by bottle tops that had melted into the road - I was hooked !! I know, I know ...... odd right ?!? Over the years (yes years) the project has morphed slightly ........ but now I can't go anywhere without adding to my collection ........ in fact I actually visit new cities JUST to photograph "the floor" ........ the looks I encounter are priceless ........ but not as much as trying to explain it to people !!!! The thing is ....... these look AMAZING when displayed, the little nuances of splashed or cracked paint; or how the weather has aged one color through to another. The variances are magical ........ dive a little deeper and you will see the beauty as I do !! Honestly I can "never" see me ending this project !! The image above is a Limited Edition fine art photographic print by Dave Wall It will be printed in A2 size IF YOU ARE YOUNG THAT IS 42CM X 59.4CM IF YOU ARE OLD THAT IS 16.5" x 23.4" All of my fine art photographs are printed to the highest standards, by myself Dave Wall and nobody else, ensuring my vision stays true Each of these Giclee prints are produced "to order" in my print studio on museum-quality Photo Paper using light-fast inks to guarantee a lifetime of display without fading or deteriorating. All artwork is produced on 100% cotton fine art paper with a slightly textured finish and guarantees the highest possible fidelity and quality. Each image is printed with a white border to allow the image to "breath" All prints are titled, embossed with the logo of Dave Wall Photography, numbered and hand signed to value to your purchase. They also come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Although Limited Edition prints are generally far more expensive, I have purposely gone against convention and priced them as per the lesser "Open Edition" option. I am determined to create AFFORDABLE ART FOR ALL and wanted to get my work into the hands and homes of real people who want beautiful art. This way everyone can afford one of my unique handcrafted fine art photographs. With Limited Edition Prints only a certain number of prints will ever be produced in that "specific size edition" and when they are sold, THEY WILL NEVER BE REPRODUCED AGAIN. The more that sell the greater of value each becomes. All images are strictly colour and density checked but may differ slightly from your computer monitor depending on how you may have it set. My artist statement is simple – AFFORDABLE ART FOR ALL 30+ years as a working commercial photographer in the UK – however, my passion has always been the same – fine art photography, it has always had my heart. When I turned 50 years young I made a conscious decision to follow my photography dreams. My work may not be understood by many, (which is a good thing) – but to others, it will “hopefully” immediately connect on an inner subconscious level. My work is often described as dark, malevolent, haunting – and occasionally light – but on thing it is and that is from the heart.
