Conceptual photographer. Any digital or film image of my gallery can been printed by order on custumer dimention and it take one week work. Inkjet prints on Canson byrita paper are certificated and signed by the autor. Actualy I'm following a conceptual, documentary, meditative way to the image, using analogic and traditional film above all with large format camera. So I like to wander in the city soburbs or in the country and seaside and get image in zen way. Professional photographer since 1980. During the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, he was the correspondent for the German magazine "Stern" and for the French one, "Actuel". For the Italian publisher Sansoni, he took care of the photo section of the volume "Palazzi Pubblici in Toscana" written by Franco Cardini and Sergio Raveggi. He collaborated with "Frigidare","Negrizia" ,"Altromondo" and other Italian magazine as "Westuff". As portrait photographer he made portraits of famous personality from the cultural and artistic world and he worked for important recording companies (Ira, Poligram, Emi).In this contest he took care of several covers of the famous Italian band "Litfiba". His pictures has been published on Italian magazines as "Amica","Mucchio Selvaggio","Rolling Stone".From 1990 to 2000 he worked in the fashion and advertising field collaborating with fashion and advertising magazines and agencies and taking care ofl advertising campaign for clothing companies. Editorial pubblication : Harper Bazar Tokio,Ferragamo Magazine Hong Kong,Firenze Magazine,Leon China, XL Repubblica. Master Theacher at L.A.B.A. Florence since 2006 up 2008. Since 2000 he stopped with the commercial and advertising photography just working and collaborating with con ONG and institutional organizations (Comune di Firenze, Medu) in social communication photo projects. Now he is working on personal long time projects on social and urban landscape and nature subjects using large photography format with a meditative way and slow approach to the image.
