ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Madrid is a city that can easily reach 40º C in summer. This project plays with the idea of these extreme weather conditions and the concept of the Heat Wave. The atmosphere created represents the mood, the colors and the light of the seasson. These images are composed with the use of juxtapozing elements; from fruits and vegetables or cacti, to more luxorious pieces of glass and cuttlery mixed with exhausted ceramic birds torn into pieces. The Pine Saver brings together a pineapple, representing the summer and tropical lifestyle with a lifesaver in a swimmingpool redefining it´s meaning. The new piece stands isolated in a colorful background giving it an iconic dimension This artwork is part of the Heat Wave series. Each print is created with care using Hahnemühle archival paper and superior inks with an excellent color reproduction and depth. -Fine-Art Giclée Print over 100% cotton Hahnmühle Fine Art Paper -29.53 in x 29.53 in (75 cm x 75 cm) Square -Limited Edition of 40 + 2 PA -This artwork is sold unframed with a 1 in white border -Signed, accredited and numbered by the artist -Includes Certificate of Authenticity Other sizes available: - 19.68 x 19.68 Limited Edition of 60 + 2 PA - 39.37 x 39.37 Limited Edition of 20 + 2 PA Limited Edition 2/40

Born in Mexico and based in Madrid, Paloma Rincón is a visual artist working across multiple disciplines with a strong focus in concept development and art direction. Paloma shoots photographic stills and directs moving image projects in a quirky style marked by bold colors and graphic compositions. Paloma creates visual games using a playful language where the meaning of objects is redefined by unexpected juxtapositions. Her work ranges from experimental and personal projects to commercial assignments for worldwide brands and respected editorial publications. International agencies and clients regularly engage her creativity through commissions and collaborations to create meaningful and striking visual content. “Her work updates the tradition of the still life to the digital, advertising age. And it’s so hashtag aesthetic— no momento mori here; instead, Rincón is interested in bright colors and fascinating forms, with palpable textures and absurd juxtapositioning. She’s a photographer, but also the author of the formal compositions her lens captures” –The Creators Project - VICE Selected Clients: Absolut, Architectural Digest, Black & White Whisky, Bombay Sapphire, Chivas Regal, Coca-Cola, Deliveroo, Diageo, Esquire, Estrella Damm, Ford, Google, Heineken, Ikea, J&B Whisky, KaDeWe, Kleenex, Michelob, N by Norwegian, Nestea, Oreo, Papa John´s, Phase One, PlayStation, Samsung, San Miguel, Schweppes, Sonos, Swatch, TK Maxx, Toyota, Vodafone, Wired Magazine
