ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was going to visit a waterfall on the outskirts of São Thomé das Letras, Minas Gerais, Brazil. When I arrived at the site, I looked up at the sky and saw these clouds standing out in the sky. I thought it would be a good occasion to photograph, because together with the local vegetation, they formed a beautiful composition. And that was the result, which I hope you enjoyed.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
