About The Artwork
Due to my Irish background, I was inspired by the history and remaining monuments through the textures that are involved and enhanced in the photograph. That river has been there long before the bridge, yet the water it contains is never the same. The Randalstown viaduct was built in 1856 to allow trains to travel over the River Maine in the Co Antrim village, and is currently used as a walkway and cycle path.
