"Rat Catcher" Photograph

I am a third year degree student studying Visual Communication and Design @ Perth UHI. I'm currently working on increasing my online portfolio, my work is based around Corporate Identity's, Brand designs, Advertising and Photography. To date I have worked for a range of clients both in and out of my study's, these range from wedding & portrait photography, video production for local council programs, brand works for musicians, corporate identity's for start up businesses and my own photography folio. My work on this site will be predominantly photography based, i will be experimenting with various different photography techniques from Monochrome to HDR to give me a better understanding of what can be done with photography. When it comes to my photography i'm trying to capture the world as close to reality as possible, i like to give my images a stark contrast and to allow the individual viewer the opportunity to discuss whether they work or not. I'm not into manipulating images (too much) for the sake of making someone look pretty and would rather my photography captured the real person or specific moment as close to reality as possible. As I am now in my third year of my honours degree I am looking to produce a strong personal folio that will enable me to secure myself future employment.
