Agustina is an Argentinian self-taught photographer with a background in fashion and textile design. Born and raised in Buenos Aires she has been travelling and capturing sceneries around Argentina since she can remember. She moved to Australia in 2019 and after travelling the different states of the country for almost two years, she is currently living in Melbourne. When arriving in Australia, she found the urge to connect her past and present through photography. Most of her work is a mixture of Argentinian and Australian scenes (her motherland and her new home). She focuses on a very melancholic and retrospective way of shooting to represent the sadness and happiness of belonging to two places at the same time. She always found the world that surrounded her as pieces of a novel: "I love to read and when I visit new places I'm always amazed by the story they show to me. It's kind of a habit that I have, I end up imagining what happened before I was there. I think cinema culture also adds a lot to it." She also likes experimental work and is starting to mix her photography with embroidery and collage.
