ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In front of the main gate of the Royal Palace of Madrid, Spain, I was looking for a way to make a different photograph. Even more so because the palace is huge and I didn't have the resources, at that time, to fit it into the entire picture. So I chose to focus on a point in the building that was symmetrical and "frame" it by a detail of the gate grid, which would be blurred, to give depth to the image. Behold, the result pleased me very much!

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
