Larsen, Paris trend setting fashion scene editor, praised her controversial work 'Sacred & Profane' as 'vrai oeuvres d'art'. "The dream like quality of her work charged with poetic sensuality evidence an harmonious balance between form and content. A content, which is also a reflection on the subtle spiritual world, the parallel realities hidden behind the physical world of matter, the fantasies and dreams which liberate us from the chains imposed by reality. Her images reveal a profound delicacy and a melancholic longing to "paradise lost". D. Muller, for "Avantgarde" So as the dream is perceptible in its profound and unexplainable emotion only by living it from within and accepting to be dragged along it's vortex towards the non boundaries of space and time, likewise, Alicia Romano's art is wonderfully perceptible if we accept to enter her dream, that with intriguing seduction envelops us in its vigorous and at times irreverent approach.
