ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Ironstone pebbles on a sandstone rock shelf in the Royal National Park, the world's second National Park.Looking like an aboriginal dot painting, this arrangement of pebbles is created by wind and water erosion on the clifftop along the park coast. Shakti can be either cosmic existence or liberation, its most significant form being the Kundalini Shakti, a psychospiritual energy force that courses through the body of awakened beings.The pebbles represent these energy particles.

I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and travelled all over the world with my parents before settling in The UK for my education. I went to Sherborne School and Reading University before moving to London to be a photographic assistant to many different photographers including Anthony Blake and Spencer Rowell. Then I moved to Australia to further my career in photography that is now 35 years long as a commercial and art photographer in Sydney. I have had several exhibitions including Transformation 1992, Lifeforce 1996, Sahaja 2000, and have completed new spiritual works, The Chakras, 2014 that are shown here on Saatchi Art. I now also teach photography with Alfonso Photo tours in Sydney.
