Dominic Evans is a freelance photographer, working under the name Evansshoots Photography. His main interest is in photojournalism, producing images that tell stories about people and the environment they inhabit. So far he has produced extensive bodies of work on Second World War Airsoft players, Field Sports, artists and creatives and the London Underground among other subjects.
He is also a major contributor to the Appleslade Archive, an archive documenting life in and around the New Forest in Hampshire, England. The archive works to produce timeless images that represent the life of the Forest as it is today.
Outside of his regular photography work he has a passion for teaching and is looking to expand on this area by providing ready-made courses and private tuition in digital and film photography and printing.
Some of the prints for sale here will be Silver Halide prints produced by hand by Dominic in his own darkroom in Yorkshire, these are produced in limited edition and are absolutely unique pieces of art as each requires special attention in the darkroom that results in minute differences between every print.
