Title: Skyesteel I At Kilt Rock waterfall the light changes every season, every month, every day. Some days when the sky is filled with big fluffy clouds, the water becomes steel blue with brilliant white waves. The tide is high and from the clifftops the surge of water against the cliffs is simply breathtaking. There is power certainly, but also elegance in the fabulous white droplets that fill the air and glisten in the sun. This was made from directly above the waves from a height of about 60 metres up (about 200feet) using an exceptionally fast shutter speed to capture the tiny droplets of spray. Each of the images in the collection represent 1/2000th of a second. An instant of the incredible beauty of Nature. This is the first in my new Skyesteel Collection. Available in prints and on luxury ChromaLuxe Aluminium as well as on canvas in small limited editions. About My Work I am passionate about luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special large prints of my work I use beautiful museum quality Canvas and the highest quality inks. I do all my own printing, having spent years learning this skill I prefer to maintain control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image. Other Sizes I am happy to take custom orders, just drop me a line. A Note on Canvases Canvases are unframed and unmounted, they need to be stretched or framed once you get them. They are matte varnished and come with 1.5 inch (4cm) gallery wrap or with white or dark coloured sides, just let me know which you prefer. Once ready, they are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery.
