"Stork" Photograph - Limited Edition of 1

I'm a freelance visual artist based in Sofia, Bulgaria and associate professor in National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, Bulgaria (Classes include History of Photography and Applied & Experimental Photography).
My research interests are focused on the research and interpretation of dynamics in the historical relationship between photography and painting. I've published numerous articles in periodicals and specialized press on the topic.
Art Projects: In my photography I'm implementing a number of mix media techniques, montages and collages, but I also love to make silver analog pictures, hand-made books and theatre photography. My works are grouped in cycles with titles: "Forest Faces" (2018 - in progress), "Urban Geometry" (2013-2018), "Sofia" (2013-2018), "Fruits of Earth" (2015), "Fruits of Love" (2002-2015), "Something in Nothing" (2014), "Tracks" (1980-2016), Animal Humans (1984-2016), "Contemporary Mythology" (2013-2015), "Gray and Colour" (1997-2000), "Shadows of Presences Past" (1984-1997), "Asleep and awake" (1986-87), "Glass Shard" (1989-91), etc.
I have participated in a series of group exhibitions in the Czech Republic, Lithuania, UK, Serbia, Poland, Denmark and Bulgaria. My works are part of the collections of the Museum "Victoria and Albert" in London, the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague as well as in private collections in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, USA, Switzerland, Japan and South Africa.
