About The Artwork

These two friends were sharing home made rakia (plum brandy) on the top of the hill in front of the church. They were listening music on the radio, and suddenly braking news were announced, that the dictator lost the power and the nations if free from communism. One of the guys without a leg immediately jumped to the door and shouted in a cry "Sloboda, sloboda!!! (Freedom, freedom!!)" Edition 25/50, gelatin silver print. This image is taken on Orwo 35mm film made in Germany, and printed on Fohar paper made in Bulgaria during the communism. There are also inkjet prints available in various sizes for lower prices.
