The Gossip - Limited Edition 2 of 10 Photograph

Aesthetically, I consider some of my photographic and multimedia work as an extension or continuation of "de Chirico." The metaphysician's middle world inhabited by mannequins, presences and archetypes. This particular work was produced digitally. The photography was made with a digital Canon S70 (during 2008) and processed years later. I keep thousands of negatives and digital files, which are taken, distorted and processed as needed for a particular idea. This process can take a long time, same as finding the right paper or medium to print. The Gossip was photographed as part of a series in 2008, processed in 2017 and printed in 2018. This is a limited edition of 10 prints, plus one mono print in different colors. The texture of the paper on which I print is very important to me. This edition is printed on Canon Heavyweight Coated Paper LFM-CP360S, made in Japan. The size of the print is 13 5/8 x 10 1/4 inches (rounded by a millimeter or two). The size of the paper is 17 x 14 inches. The signature does not appear as in this display. Each limited edition print is numbered and signed by hand by the artist. It ships flat.
