"The Man And The Sea" Photograph

Carina Wachsmann is a creative art director,
photographer, film director and designer with
over 15 years of international work experience
in visual arts and communication. Wachsmann
was born in Ulm (Germany), holds a bachelor‘s
degree in Media Design and Fine Arts and was
awarded a scholarship at the Cleveland Institute
of Art. Having lived and worked in Rome for 7
years, she is currently based in Paris since 2013.
Wachsmann collaborates with global brands as
well as design and advertising agencies to create
meaningful content and art work. She sets the
vision and strategy and specializes in branding,
art direction, identity, film directing, and creative
storytelling.
Since 2006 she has worked as a professional
photographer, showing her work in international
solo shows and collective art events. Her awarded
photographs have been published in books and
magazines and sold to private art collectors and
institutions in Europe and USA.
Wachsmann worked as a directing assistant in
films including “Angels and Demons” by Ron
Howard and “Miracle of Sant Anna” by Spike
Lee. In addition, she has written, produced and
directed her own short films and documentary
films which were screened at international film
festivals such as the Queens Museum of Art and
the Miami Fashion Film Festival.
