Tom Byrne is an Irish fine-art photographer based near
Dublin. His personal work blends staged portraiture,
symbolic objects and dramatic light to create images
that feel suspended between theatre, memory and
dream.
Working collaboratively with models, he builds scenes
around gesture, mood, texture and atmosphere rather
than literal explanation. His photographs often place
the human figure in conversation with darkness,
damaged rooms, ritual objects, veils, walls and silence.
This revised proposal is shaped as a first gallery
exhibition and focuses on a more coherent visual
language: shadowed theatrical space, symbolic objects,
bodily tension and transformation.
