The Tengboche Monastery and view to The Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse. Tengboche Monastery (Thyangboche or Dawa Choling Gompa) is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu valley of eastern Nepal. Located at an altitude of 3,867 m (12,687 ft), and en route to Everest Base Camp Trek, it is one of the most prominent and the largest monastery in the entire region. The Mount Everest only has a small piece of the summit visible, it's above Nuptse at the top center of the photo.

Aleksandr Kuznetsov - was born in Siberia. Photographer. Director, screenwriter, cameraman of documentary films. Champion of the USSR in mountaineering, 1987, 1990. Participant of the ascent to Everest on a new route, 1996. The French four-part film: “La Russie dans l'objectif” (ARTE France, Artline Films, 2017), focuses on the work of contemporary Russian photographers. In the first series “In Search of Utopia”, a story about Alexander Kuznetsov: “From the vastness of the Siberian mountains to dehumanized prisons and factories, Aleksandr Kuznetsov questions the boundaries between oppression and freedom.” ?ref_=fn_al_nm_11
