About the Artist Werner Roelandt is an internationally awarded fine art photographer known for revealing hidden patterns through perspective, composition and views from above. His work transforms landscapes and industrial environments into rhythmic visual compositions where geometry, repetition and colour expose structures that often remain unnoticed. By combining multiple images or by photographing from vertical perspectives he creates photographs that move between reality and abstraction, inviting viewers to rediscover familiar places in an unexpected way. All artworks are available as signed limited edition fine art prints. Each piece is carefully produced as a museum quality fine art print on premium archival paper. Inspiration Werner Roelandt finds inspiration in the hidden structures and patterns that emerge when the world is observed from an unexpected perspective. Landscapes, cities and industrial environments reveal a surprising visual order when seen from above or when fragments of time and space are brought together into a single composition. Travel also plays an important role in his work. Exploring different places allows him to discover new visual rhythms in landscapes, architecture and urban environments. Through his photography he invites viewers to look beyond the obvious and rediscover the familiar world as a field of patterns, geometry and visual poetry. Process Werner Roelandt’s work begins with observing the world from perspectives that are often overlooked. Many of his images are captured from directly above, allowing landscapes and structures to transform into graphic compositions of lines, colours and shapes. In several projects he carefully combines multiple photographs taken over a period of time to construct a single image. This process allows different moments to merge into one composition, creating visual rhythms and patterns that cannot be seen in a single photograph. Through careful composition and digital post processing he builds the final image he has in mind, balancing realism and abstraction while maintaining the photographic essence of the scene.
