What Does A Photography Mean To Me? Mainly it is a study of the world, other people, and myself. It is a certain higher level of the interactive communication. Through the photography, I can uncover and express difficult topics like my relation to the world and life. It is a kind of poetry without a need of worn-out words. A good photography has its own meaning and sense. Besides providing a true picture of real objects, it can capture something intangible and hard to define. Some lines of forces streaming to reflect the photographer's individual feeling, his connection to the visual stimuli, experience, and situation. The relation to certain themes, their selection, and the way of interpretation - it all describes the photographer's personality, his intellectual and emotional level, his conscience and sub conscience. However, a strong element of happening and a moment of surprise remain a part of the photographer's creative work as well. I am looking for situations which would take me, visually and emotionally, by surprise and make me happy. These are often very brief moments vanishing so fast that the process of their capturing feels like a little adventure. A search for beauty and poetry, a search for silence, warmth, peace, safety, and security in the middle of clattering chaos, a search for time to pause and think - that may be one of possible ways of life and also one of possible creative programs. We tend to think constantly about the sense of our creative work and try to find an explanation of our obsession. We try to articulate more or less confused theories, and when it looks like we have got it and we can explain everything, we get attacked by doubts and suddenly, everything we have done seems useless and senseless. Yet, there is an unknown force making us pick up that pen, brush, or camera again and materialize vanishing moments of our life, our thoughts, and dreams, and again we start to think if there is any sense to that...
