I took this photograph while walking through a park in São Paulo, Brazil. When I came across this large tree, I had the idea of taking a photograph that highlighted its height. So I chose to focus on just one point of its trunk, gradually blurring everything else, resulting in this work that I am offering for sale here.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
