About The Artwork

The night until the early hours of the following morning, a waxing moon was just like a thin wire, it was going to be a almost new moon.
Her unpredictable and bewitching movement appeared from the completely dark shore, sand pits or everywhere around me.
This simple zen-like composition is one of the theme for this series.
Some people said that the master and guests share the universe in a very narrow tea room while they have tea ceremony in Japan. I don’t know it’s true or not, at this time I felt I was closer for it slightly.
She moved beautifully mysterious and I just cut off that moment without a word. I never told her how she should move or pose.
I hadn’t known if I need to communicate with her while we were shooting, afterwards I was aware we had communicate all the time in the silence, or maybe I am wrong.
Or I also I can describe these scenes that it seemed she totally didn’t care of my camera like a beautiful wild animal, I felt just like chasing to shoot through her body with a shotgun.
I did proceed this work with our consciousness and unconsciousness. Print size: The print is 380 mm long by 569 mm wide with a margin around it. The dimensions, including margins, are 500 mm high and 700 mm wide. Lambda print

Recognition of the self and others, this is the theme of my work. Our daily life is full of contrasts. Every difference makes us, yet we like them to be balanced somehow. And everything in this world seems to be harmoniously synched. If two friends are facing each other across the table in a new café, the drawings on the wall they remember may be different. Or, a traveler from the east and a traveler from the west may see different scenery even if they are walking on the same road. Even though the differences are faint, I always think that noticing or misunderstanding them complicates the world. Born in Yokohama, Japan, 1971. Turned to a professional photographer in 2004 after being a Japanese language lecturer in Kuching, Malaysia for two years, and a scene carpenter at Kabuki-za theater as known as the most traditional theater in Japan for seven years.
