About The Artwork
A few years ago I went on an epic journey across Costa Rica. I had the opportunity to explore the jungle and venture deep into the rainforest, to kayak through the mangroves, and trek majestic volcanoes. It was breathtaking, to say the least. I watched endangered baby sea turtles hatch out of their shells, and spent a night at the beach swimming amongst bioluminescent plankton in shark infested waters. A surreal and humbling experience. At last, I surfed beautiful breaks from morning until sunset, and gazed night after night at the starriest of skies, coconut in hand. The ocean is where I feel most at home. This photograph invites the viewer on a magical journey underwater. The pattern is reminiscent of Gustav Klimt's art. All prints are delivered on high quality archival paper. Please note that different sizes are available for purchase.
