About The Artwork

Limited editions of 70x86cm are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag paper 308 g/m2, and are delivered with author certificate. Each artwork includes a 1cm white border on all four sides to facilitate framing. The horizon and the surface of the water are referred to in this series as “Tipping Lines”. These “Tipping Lines” are doors to new layers of the water’s state, wether above or below it, something is happening. The “Tipping Lines” of nature, such thin surfaces, separate different worlds, different movements and different ambiances. In this series, I combined those worlds. Using two distinct photographs from above and underwater, the artworks show the states of nature combined. One can usually see what’s happening either above or below water, but never simultaneously. Those artworks offer the possibility to experience both phenomenons at the same time. Prints in smaller sizes are available directly through Saatchi in open editions. Moreover, I accept special commissions and requests if you are still unable to find what you are looking for. Feel free to contact me with any inquiries at curator@saatchiart.com
