ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This image began as a film photography I created recently. I am photographing film more and more lately because I feel strongly that not only is it a lost artform, but the fidelity and tones are unmatched compared to digital originals. I have had remarkable success with film then scanning to digital. With today's software, resolution and sizes are nearly limitless when working from scanned film. This image of the tattooed body builder's chest is strong graphic image that i manipulated in Photoshop for the effect you see before you. My intent was to show the strength of his chest and the graphics in his tattoo's in a fine art format.
