'Treasure Hunters', 2020, photocomposite - Five lions guard majestically their golden mountains, a symbol of ephemeral man-made wealth, while seven birds are nesting in delicate gold, a palace as fragile as the craftsmanship of nature itself. On the heavenly ceiling, Dionysus is pulled through the painted sky by lions on a gilded chariot - as a testament to the celebrations of humanity. Contrasts coming together.
