About The Artwork
Photography taken in Biarritz on the french bask coast with in the background of the image the famous Villa Belza. My collection "Sun Bath" was inspired by Pieter Brueghel l'Ancien and his life scenes in wintertime. I want to tell about life here in bask country and focus on all the daily and intimate stories on the beaches. I pay particular attention to the choice of a framing of the scene, approaching a real visual "mise en scene". In painting one makes the choice of the subject, in photography my subject is there in front of my eyes and I make the choice of its staging. Photographs have not been digitally collaged or superimposed. I just play with light Only prints on Fine Art matt Paper 310g- Signed and numbered at the back of the print. Certificate of authenticity
