In May 2012, Touché-Coulé, an urban art blog, organized in Brussels a strategy game—Urban Disorders—where participants concealed the faces of most monumental statues with bright red boxes to force us to reflect about the impact of public spaces in a city. I used black and white together with a selective coloring process to dramatize the image and reinforce the impact of the red boxes. An independent artist and retired graphic designer, I create fine art photographs and explore the possibilities of photo-based digital art. While taking photographs in mostly urban settings, I also focus on manipulated photography to create abstract compositions, photo illustrations, and digital mixed media art.
