“Water drops on blue acrylic” 1990 Studio Arno Brehme, Mexico City A display of organic shapes created by the surface tension of water droplets on a blue acrylic sheet. The essay was self-assigned. In the eighties and early nineties I had no studio. Arno Brehme, a retired advertising photographer and son of Hugo Brehme, was a kind and highly experienced professional, who allowed me to use his studio in García Conde, Col. Tacubaya, Mexico City, for whatever studio work I had to do. Hugo Brehme, a pioneering professional photographer from Germany based in Mexico City, published in 1923 the first book on Mexican landscapes and architectures titled "México Pintoresco", reprinted in 1990 by Grupo Editorial Miguel Ángel Porrúa. The 56 cm print comes in a limited edition of 9. Title, author, year of photo and manufacture are included on the print. The print comes with a 2 cm white border.
