"Where we are going" is my new environmental project. Humanity, only a small part of nature. At the top of the mountains, far from the urban area, you realize the greatness of nature, and you can't help but wonder “where are we going ... where humanity is heading and what it will do. Strange weather, I was inspired by the fog that came over mountains and over us, the few there. It was a mysterious and dramatic fog that left and came continuously and intertwined us with nature. Environmental hazards due to climate change were a harsh reality in the context of those days in July 2021, and not only, when apocalyptic waters caused landslides as strange floods devastated Europe. Humanity is only a small part of nature, but it has played a crucial role in its evolution. The pictures were taken in July 2021, in the Aiguilles Rouges massif and the Bionnassay Glacier area, Chamonix, the French Alps. All limited edition prints are accompanied by a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Also artist's signature in pencil at the back of the photo. Available on Hahnemühle William Turner Matt Fine Art Paper - 310.

Elena Raceala is a Romanian photographer and currently works as a nurse at the County and Emergency Clinical Hospital Constanta. She discovered her passion for photography in 2013 during a trip to Naples and since that moment, part of her, lives through photography. She loves to travel and document every place she passes through. Along the way, Elena Raceala has sought her own style, trying to express her emotions and artistic vision through works with surrealist or poetic inclinations. Part of her wants to express herself, to conquer more of what is still in the power of nothingness, and the other part to collect what is already represented. Representative for her are black and white works in which photographs of the street or everyday life are transformed, creatively using light and shadows, spaces, and lines, into creations with an own surrealist vision. She has won awards and mentions in some of the best-known international photography competitions. Over the years she has had numerous group exhibitions, and two solo exhibitions, in Constanta and Bucharest, and her photographs have been selected in various photo albums on prestigious photography websites. Recently, she has had two editorial appearances in "Photography in Visual Culture" and "Women's Essence – The Woman of the Contemporary Art", organized by Musa International, both accompanied by group exhibitions.
