I saw Angkor Wat for the first time as a picture in a reportage about Jackie Kennedy's visit to Cambodia. She stood in front of the Angkor Wat with the then head of government. She was wearing a beautiful turquoise-blue, shoulder-free dress. At that time I was a student of German in Zagreb/Croatia and I read this report (in German). This picture of the beautiful J. Kennedy in front of the until then unknown Angkor Wat remained in my memory. On the first New Year's Day 2020 I was in Cambodia in front of Angkor Wat with many other tourists. It was overwhelming and I tried to summarize everything in one picture: my memories, my education, the beautiful color of J. Kennedy's dress, the incredible Angkor Wat. The general theme of my art work is: experience and feeling of beautiful. I photograph the moments in a process - moments that are part of eternity. The absolute source of inspiration for me is the nature. I love the water, the stones, the sea, the light, the sky, the colors, the beauty … - as in this photograph. "The end product" of my work is either pure photography, or an image created digitally based on the photograph. I try to see the photographed "new", to experience it "new" and to interpret it "new". I hope the viewer sees and feels the same way: seeing and feeling the familiar things of life with "new" eyes. This picture is a digital artwork with electronic signature of authenticity and originality. This is the original. The artwork can be viewed digitally on the screen, on TV, on the phone, as a projection on the wall or as a print. When purchasing I provide a JPG without copyright mark and with dimensions suitable for printing. The buyer can have it printed at the printer of his choice - in the quality and format he likes. The original (JPG-file) can be sent by e-mail too. (more: or )
