shot with handmade pinhole with polaroid 4x5 printed by Antonio Manta on NP3 glossy museum cotton paper or printed by Soluzioni Arte Fine Art Lab on Hahnemuehle PhotoRag 308 museum cotton paper This image captures an imposing architectural arch located in La Défense, Paris, using a technique that blurs the details, creating a dreamy and mysterious effect. The use of long exposure and soft focus transforms the rigid and modern architecture into an ethereal, almost ghostly form that seems to float between reality and imagination. The inspiration for this work comes from an interest in contemporary architecture and the desire to explore how rigid, material structures can take on a more fluid and abstract appearance when viewed through a different lens. The subject, solid and concrete, becomes almost unreal, inviting the viewer to reflect on how we perceive urban space and its symbols of power and progress. Through this photo, I hope the viewer feels a sense of disorientation and wonder, as if they were seeing an urban landscape through the filter of dreams. The choice of long exposure and blur is intentional: it was made to give the subject an undefined, ever-changing quality, suggesting how cities and their buildings, though they appear immutable, are actually subject to time and change. The photo was taken using analog film and shot with a pinhole camera, a technique that enhances the blurred and distorted effect, giving the image an even more surreal and timeless atmosphere. The image is designed to be displayed without a frame, allowing the viewer to be directly immersed in the surreal atmosphere it evokes.

I do not know much about my philosophy that we are still being defined, but to tell the truth I do not think that means get well to define it. For my photos mainly use the technique of the pinhole camera. Technical use for over 20 years. The common theme of my photos is often the journey, the photographs used as notes for the memory. In the words can not express my thoughts, often are the people who know me or they see my pictures that focus on better than me parts of my way of relating to photography and in particular the pinhole. Riccardo Pieroni as my former professor at the R.Rossellini school of cinema and TV in rome, which in some ways is my mentor for the exhibition "I love - eh! - To think - to nothing!" at the library Bibli wrote these words very beautiful and revealing.
"Luca is a person of few words ... that is very thought!
He chose to photograph with the pinhole on handmade apparatus: a picture meditation. Time. The light (radiation, energy) slowly comes to rest on the sensitive material and, simultaneously, is stratified in the consciousness of the photographer: This is a particular form of knowledge that aims at depths of things, the essence.
It is not easy to describe the feelings that you try working through the pinhole. This is a photograph of "natural" and, together, very "technical". Luca is a manufacturer: cameras out of his hands. It 'an investigator means any lighting, color, shape requires a modification of the process. It 'a traveler: it brings back its strange equipment and see what others can not see. It 'an artist: the most basic construction techniques and "light" supports the technological magic of photography "immediate" (polaroid, fuji) and establishes a working method that accepts the unexpected as part of research. The computer intervenes in the end, paradoxically, to "material" to a process for most ethereal, evanescent.
For this exhibition, Luca decided to assign the images of his trips to the words: citations. These are the thoughts that during the long periods of waiting for the photo "is made", while on the move, during the realization of the photographic process, and appear to mind that miraculously find crystallized in thoughts of others, words flying (from books, films ...) that meet our thoughts and not rush these on a sheet in a final and perfect.
