This is an original handmade lino cut print. Available in an edition of 40. The first photo included is number 1/40 and is executed in the colors yellow, orange, gray, brown, green, blue, and black. Photos 2 to 6 are layers 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. You can view the photos of the other prints if you select one of the other prints. It is printed with Caligo Safe Wash oil paint. The image size is 29 × 29 cm, on 200 grams acid-free watercolor paper of 35 x 50 cm. The print is supplied unframed and can be cropped to fit a frame. I spent over two months designing and printing. A total of 54 hours. Videos of the entire process of each layer can be seen on YouTube and on my website . My inspiration comes from William Morris, who I think made beautiful prints. It is an Art Nouveau style. My studio is in a rural area, and I hear the sheep, horses and goats when I am painting. I love animals and I like to paint them. This is a varied print. Each print is hand made and may be slightly different. I may have used a roller a little differently or mixed a color a little differently. It is a reduced lino print is that more lino is cut away for each layer of printing. Once I have completed a layer of printing and started cutting into the lino there is no going back and mistakes cannot be corrected or changes made, so a lot of care and planning is required. This image has 9 layers of cutting and printing. The video on YouTube shows how I peel the paper away from the lino after each of those 9 layers.

My work is the result of a multidisciplinary learning process through fashion, fine arts, and textiles. I love making dazzling art with my paintbrush, oils, watercolors, and designing colorful patterns to make common things more beautiful. VALUES Creating reveals a joyful spirit, by setting free the limitless forces of love that we are. Patience, care, reflection, love for detail, expertise are present in everything I do. I praise the spirit of the artisans, their workshops, the arts & crafts, handmade, the vernacular wisdom. By reinterpreting ancient techniques and know-how and suiting them to modernity, the inherited beauty, where we all depart from, is protected. As an artist, I love painting and illustrating, playing and experiencing with textures and shades, releasing her hand in an intuitive and boundless way. Oil painting, watercolors, and inks are the mediums I love to work with.
