Hand printed, limited edition screen print. I have always believed that butterflies are magical and that if one lands on you, you can make a wish! So delicate and beautiful, I adore them. They effortlessly glide from flower to flower embracing their opportunity for freedom and change. Signifying sunshine and beauty, butterflies are everywhere in our culture. Often people say how butterflies are inspiring and that they can motivate one to change for the better. Maybe it's their stunning beauty, or the fact that through metamorphosis they inspire change in a short period. Hand printed using black, fluorescent yellow, orange and pink water based inks on 300gsm Fabriano paper. Please note colour may vary (only slightly) in the flesh. Image size : 40 X 52 cm Paper size : 50 X 70 cm Fits into standard size off the shelf frames. Limited edition of 17 prints. PLEASE NOTE: mount and frame not included. This print will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and packed in a robust cardboard tube for delivery. A trackable mailing service is normally used to ensure it reaches you safely.

I am a printmaker and mixed media artist based in London. I rely on photography, drawing, paint and collage to explore the world around me. In my artworks, images are combined, removed from their original narrative context and reconfigured into a new scenario. Some of my works are based on collages, transformed into a hand made screen print. I appreciate the messiness of sticky glue, soggy paper and the unpredictable nature of the final product. I am interested in working on the boundaries between collage and technology. My visual language embraces the brightness of Pop art. I like the screen printing media because it is no longer confined to a simple impression on paper, it offers artists a way to experiment and fail, to test colour relationships and play with ideas. Often appropriating visual themes and incorporating these as printed motifs, I adopt a playful approach in my practice. Inspiration is found in my surroundings: colours, lines, shapes and patterns that can be found in cities, design and fashion and try to find humour in day to day life. I am inspired also by pets and their special place in our family life.
