Diana, signed print, by Alberto Vargas Print - Limited Edition of 20

This renowned nude by Alberto Vargas hints at the pinup style he would pioneer in subsequent years. Vargas began his ascent producing artwork for the Ziegfeld Follies up to 1936. He was later recruited by fan and appreciator Hugh Hefner, who commissioned over 150 artworks for Playboy magazine. As a result, Alberto Vargas is credited with creating the Classic American Pinup style, for which he remains revered to this day. This piece comes from a rare cache of signed artist prints that Mr. Vargas personally gave to his understudy and friend. These pieces have never been previously made available to the public.
