About The Artwork
A variation of my recent illustration of the Barbican. This time printed on sheets of plywood in a varied edition of 6, each piece in the edition is unique. This listing is for number 2 of 6 this piece is a stark monchrome version of the print with the bold halftone dots for the sky. The plywood is first varnished and then screen printed. It is a seven colour print, the printed elements have a flat matt finish which contrasts with the areas of shiny varnished wood. The full piece is 60 x 90cm and hangs from wooden battons on the back. The peice is ready to hang and once hung it appears to float an inch off the wall. This piece is titled, signed, numbered and dated on the reverse.
